The history of Dolls House Corner

My mum never had a dolls house when she was little. As she got older she still loved the little world of dolls houses and decided to build one. She did this and filled it up with all the tiny things till it was bursting at the sides. Of course she then went on to build a beautiful corner shop which is a dressmakers. Then a pub, a grocers, a tea shop, hardware shop, more houses and even more shops. She is now a miniature property developer and the proud owner of a small village, which is still growing.

We couldn't get the things we needed and had to send abroad and go to fairs in the UK. Mum had always wanted a business of her own and so this is why DOLLS HOUSE CORNER started. In Jan, 2000 we opened with a very small display and over the years it has grown into one of the biggest displays in Ireland with over 1000 pieces on show. If there is something special you are looking for hopefully we will find it for you.
